Authority, Skepticism, and the Leader Who Endures

We live in an age that claims to distrust authority. Institutions are questioned, officials are scrutinized, and power is assumed to be self-serving until proven otherwise. And yet, in moments of instability, we reach for something to trust. The instinct toward authority does not disappear when institutions fail. It relocates.

The leader who has done the interior work, who carries integrity not as a strategy but as the actual condition of his life, that person has something the moment needs and cannot manufacture. He creates environments where others can actually flourish, rather than environments where people simply perform and wait for authority to leave the room.
