Clarity Under Pressure
Most leaders think clarity is about communication. It is not. Clarity is something that was formed in you long before you ever had to lead. You hear it most plainly when a leader is under pressure. Some hesitate, some overexplain, and some shift direction mid-sentence. That is not a failure of intelligence. It is a lack of internal clarity, and internal clarity is the product of formation, not communication training.
That is why two leaders can face the exact same situation and respond in completely different ways. One simplifies while the other complicates. One moves decisively while the other delays. The difference is not skill. It is formation. And until that is addressed, no amount of better messaging will fix it.
